Advice

  • Avoid getting a chill and sudden changes in temperature.
  • Eat seasonal fruit and supplements that contain vitamin C.
  • Avoid walking barefoot on cold surfaces, since getting a chill in the back, chest and feet increases the probability of developing a cough, cold or more complex respiratory diseases.
  • Implement consistent hygiene habits, such as keeping your surroundings clean, consistently and conscientiously washing your hands: before eating, after going to the toilet, after using shared objects such as telephones, pens, etc.; before and after shaking hands, kissing or hugging; never touch your face with dirty hands, especially your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Whenever you sneeze or cough, do so into the inside of your arm or a tissue, which you should then throw away immediately.
  • Never cover your mouth with your hands, or if you do, wash them immediately.
  • Do not smoke and avoid being close to people who do smoke.
